Fed and Pickled offer a variety of food packages. We work towards bringing a restaurant quality service to you in your holiday home. From relaxed sharing boards to an in house chef and table service.
Packages offered include an private chef and server, prepared and delivered food packages or small plates and sharing menus. We also offer a personalised food and beverage expert who can supply and pair wines to your bespoke menu.
We take great pride in laying the table to perfectly suit you and your occasion.
All menus are bespoke to your party; using seasonal, local and independent suppliers where possible.
We are bespoke caterers who design each event with you, the client. We do not have set menus and fixed prices, although our sample menus will give you an idea of both. We regularly visit Gitcombe to execute wonderful dinners/lunches/buffets. We are also running a fabulous food delivery service. Elaine Day is the owner and Head Chef of Entertaining Food. She has been a professional chef for over 30 years. Elaine provides fabulous dining experiences from private chefs to delivered foods.
Val from Hearty Food specialises in cooking delicious sharing feasts using quality, local and seasonal ingredients. A range of globally inspired themed menus, such as Mediterranean, Southern Indian and Middle Eastern are available, as well as bespoke menus to cater for all tastes and dietaries.
Dan and Charlie ran the successful Cellar Door restaurant at Sharpham Vineyard for 4 years. With the vineyard now relocating to Stoke Gabriel, they decided to focus their energy on a smaller operation based from their smallholding in Bugford where they live with their young son, Charlie’s mother and an assortment of animals. They share a love of produce-driven, seasonal food, and being involved in every stage of production, with much of the produce they use being sourced from their own kitchen garden.
John Burton Race, locally based, acclaimed 2* Michelin Chef and successful television personality of the show “French Leave” would be honoured to cook for you in the privacy of Gitcombe House or Gitcombe Retreat. Sourcing local sustainable ingredients John will tailor make a stunning feast for you and your guests.
