Jake has been cooking for 20 years, with over a decade of experience at Mitch Tonk’s award winning Seahorse Restaurant, formerly as the Head Chef. Throughout his career, Jake has been very fortunate to have worked alongside some of the industry greats – Angela Hartnett, Mark Hix, Henry Harris, Matt Tebbutt and more – and to have collaborated in Italy and Spain with the incredible Al Gato Nero in Venice, Dario Cecchini the Tuscan butcher and Cal I’ilsidre in Barcelona. Jake’s culinary style is led by seasonal ingredients and characterised by its simplicity, with Italian and Mediterranean influences. Now starting out on his own, nervous but excited for the new opportunities ahead!
Dan and Charlie ran the successful Cellar Door restaurant at Sharpham Vineyard for 4 years. With the vineyard now relocating to Stoke Gabriel, they decided to focus their energy on a smaller operation based from their smallholding in Bugford where they live with their young son, Charlie’s mother and an assortment of animals. They share a love of produce-driven, seasonal food, and being involved in every stage of production, with much of the produce they use being sourced from their own kitchen garden.

Hi, my name is Kit and I have been the Head Chef @ The Wellington Hotel in Boscastle for the last 10 years where I have held a 2 AA rosette for culinary excellence for the whole duration. Prior to that I have worked and learned in many different 2 and 3 Rosette and Michelin star Establishments in London and all over the world.
I am now running my own private chef business and looking to put all my experience into private, fine dining on a more personal level.
I want to make the whole journey of working together simple and friendly. I love working with local produce and creating a menu on a very high level, but it will always come down to what the customer wants.
