Situated in the delightful conservation village of Ashprington, three miles South of the market town of Totnes, The Durant Arms, established in 1725, is a country inn and a family run free-house with three en-suite guest bedrooms.

The Waterman’s Arms restaurant and bar overlook the river at Bow Bridge, Ashprington, Totnes Devon. The location is perfect for a quite drink, a light lunch or a candle lit evening meal.

Paul & Gayle bring over 50 years of hospitality experience to The Watermans Arms. From their early days running lively venues on the Costa del Sol to more than two decades creating a warm and welcoming pub life in Brighton, they’ve pretty much seen it all. In fact, they’ve been running pubs longer than they’ve been parents – so it’s fair to say hospitality really is their firstborn! Now, together with their family, they’re excited to bring that same passion, energy, and community spirit to Ashprington.

The Anchorstone Café is one of the South Hams’ few true river-side cafés, situated on the bank of the River Dart in the beautiful village of Dittisham. Why not visit by boat?

The Ferry Boat Inn (known locally as The FBI) is a traditional community pub located right on the shore of the River Dart in Dittisham.

Taguchi-Ya is a family kitchen, a place to treat like your own home; relaxed, informal and comfortable. We offer simple and delicious home cooking made with care and commitment. All the food is cooked to order by two humble women; Yoshimi Taguchi and Keiko Storey.

Sandridge Barton, the home of Sharpham Wine is nestled in a picturesque valley in the South Hams, Sandridge Barton Wines may appear to be a new face on the UK wine scene, but our Devon-based vineyard and winery has been growing grapes since 2008, producing over 60 tonnes of fruit per year from our 32 acre vineyard. The Lobster Pod is right above the harbour at Hope Cove, nestling beneath the Cottage Hotel. The coast path passes right alongside and the beach is genuinely less than a minute away.

Hope Cove itself is about a 15-minute drive from Kingsbridge. There is a car park situated above the beach, just a few minutes walk from the Lobster Pod.

The Rugglestone Inn is a unique, un spoilt Dartmoor inn delightfully located in the picturesque village of Widecombe in the Moor.

The School House is at Mothecombe, arguably by the prettiest beach & estuary locally.

The Cafe on the Green has been proudly serving visitors to Widecombe-in-the-Moor for almost a century. We have it on very good authority that we were the first purpose-built tearoom on Dartmoor, when the trend for cream teas took off.
