From the grown up's....

Frequently said but very true, a fantastic place. We love Devon but Gitcombe is the icing on the cake.

Perfect cottage. Perfect weather. Perfect for Poppy, she was the most excited we have ever seen her.
Lovely early evening walk around Sharpham Vineyard, also walking through bluebell woods near Salcombe
and to the Waterman’s pub (Tuckenhay).

Save yourself time looking into other holiday cottages and just book a stay at Gitcombe House. You won't be disappointed! Great place, beautiful location and very friendly owners who have put a lot of thought into making your stay memorable. Worth every penny.

Nilesh's 40th birthday weekend! So good to be back - our favourite holiday destination- breakfast by the fire at Blackpool sands by the fire - lovely, thank you.

Lovely and green and peaceful, died and gone to heaven!

Came down en masse for granny’s 70th – 16 of us had a great time. Loved the crabbing at Dittisham
and hire a board to go to Dartmouth. Wonderful caterer – Elaine (Entertaining Food) – for excellent
in house supper in Garden House – a real treat! Lots of tennis, swimming and fun.
Lucie tip top baby sitter.

A perfect place to escape to and unwind! So much thought has gone into Gitcombe, you’ve thought
of everything. Very child friendly. Hot tub setting is fantastic.

Stylish, sophisticated, spotlessly clean in a stunning location and child friendly. We love it.

A beautiful holiday home in a beautiful setting. We’ve had a fantastic time and LOVED all the bonus
bits like the stunning pool, hot tub and play zone. Thank you both – very relaxed hosts!”

Lovely, lovely, lovely. Angus (11 months) had his first swim. If we come to Devon, this is the place to be.

Another lovely week, plenty of crabbing and breakfast at Alf Resco - do hope we'll be back again.

A grown-up’s treat!

Our fifth visit to gorgeous Gitcombe and we have loved every minute of it, as usual. The weather has been rather soggy but we still enjoyed Gitcombe’s marvellous facilities. Highlights supper and crabbing at the Anchorstone Café in Dittisham, canoeing from Tuckenhay with Canoe Adventures and a trip on the sea
tractor (at Bigbury) and the ferry from South Sands beach to Salcombe.

Lovely time. Blessed with good weather! Loved cooking with the AGA!

We enjoyed all the facilities and especially the good night’s sleep with a tired-out baby!

We have had a lovely time – well Charlotte had a fantastic time which means Mum, Dad and Nana have too.

We've had a fantastic fortnight here and nobody wants to go home! Really enjoyed the pools, especially the hot tub in the rain. Fab country walks. Enjoyed crabbing at Dittisham and visits to Greenways, Overbecks and Coleton Fishacre (National Trust properties). The boys have played lots of tennis and Faye loved playing in the grounds with the other little girls. And we have all slept like logs!

Gitcombe has given us all the ingredients for a perfect holiday.
