Gitcombe House Country Cottages

Somewhere special for families, friends & couples

In a secluded valley,  near Dartmouth, south Devon, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, lie our eight self catering holiday cottages and leisure spa.

An exclusive haven of tranquility and luxury, with indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools. Acres of glorious grounds, peace and privacy to enjoy for a short break or longer. And near to fab beaches.

Our contemporary cottages come with designer kitchens and appliances, chic soft furnishings, luxury bathrooms, log fires and are warm and comfortable whatever the season.

We may be stylish, but it's baby, child and family friendly here too.  Little ones can enjoy the outdoor and indoor play areas, and older ones can perfect their tennis skills.  Or make friends with Tango, our popular resident pooch.

Our fabulous leisure facilities offer rest and respite as well as exercise.  Take a dip in the swimming pool or laze on the sun terraces. Unwind in the sauna and steam rooms, or sit back in the outdoor jacuzzi and admire the stunning views to Dartmoor National Park. And on a winter's break, chill out snug and cosy by the fire with a glass of vino and a good book.

The perfect base to explore this amazingly beautiful part of England. Close to the sea, stunning beaches and the stylish waterside towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe. What more could you ask from your holiday? Oh yes, lots of fabulous restaurants and cafes and even an energetic hike to the local pub! We look forward to welcoming you.

"Think the unthinkable - a holiday with toddlers that actually felt like a holiday!  We loved it, thanks." Guests, Sheepstor Barn, 2009
